Don Boyle: Don Boyle is the founder and owner of SportingNewsCT.com and a seasoned sports broadcaster with over twenty-years of experience. Boyle cut is teeth in the broadcast industry while working as a sports broadcaster at WESX in Salem, MA. While there he held many positions including sports director, morning drive jock and talk show host. In the meantime, Boyle free-lanced reporting tape-delayed sports play-by-play for the Time Warner Community TV station based in Lynn, MA. Boyle also served as their weekly news show sports anchor. Some of his favorite moments include trips to the old Boston Garden and the new Fleet Center to call both hockey and basketball championships for the local teams. In the spring months Boyle had the chance to follow a national record-breaking Bishop Fenwick softball team win 7-consecutive state titles and a Salem, MA baseball team led by former major leaguer Jeff Juden capture a baseball crown.
